| Lee Currie: Director The company is owned and operated by Lee Currie, a graduate with several university qualifications, backed by substantial experience in a variety of industries. Lee was born and has always lived and worked in the Central Queensland area and tries to make a substantial commitment to development of regional training standards. Lee was the inaugural recipient of the Department of State Development’s International Women’s Day Business Award in 1999. Current Training Qld Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated business, based in Central Queensland, dedicated to designing and customising training solutions to meet professional, corporate and personal development requirements. CTQ offers its clients a dependable, ongoing expertise in specialist training areas, program writing and maintenance of the quality systems. Consistent and timely service and support on all levels are a primary commitment to our clients in order to share an ongoing and positive relationship.
BACKGROUND:
Current Training Qld commenced operations in 1996 and has offered its clients a solid service that reflects all the advances and changes in the training world applied strategically to meet enterprise demands. The company is owned and operated by Lee Currie, a graduate with several university qualifications, backed by substantial experience in a variety of industries. Lee was born and has always lived and worked in the Central Queensland area and has made a substantial commitment to development of regional training standards. Lee was the inaugural recipient of the Department of State Development's International Women's Day Business Award in 1999. Our company also partnered a large coalmine to win the 1998 State Training Award for Outstanding Initiatives.
The company's client base, includes large mining companies from both coal and metals sectors, large and small businesses, universities, State departments, training providers and individuals involved in many areas. CTQ supplies clients with high quality market proven training, training plans, programs, materials, prompt on site services and advice, all at reasonable and competitive prices.
The company is a Registered Training Provider and achieved and maintains a quality system according to ISO 9002 Quality Assurance Standards.
HUMAN RESOURCES:
Current Training Qld operates with a core of key employees, supplemented with independent specialists who are called upon to meet particular or unusual client needs, such as specialist training or materials development. All staff or representatives are qualified and have considerable on-the-job experience, which ensures practical and workable solutions to workplace changes and challenges. The company prides itself on its personal attention to detail to provide a comprehensive and complete service for clients. We believe this is best achieved by remaining small and endlessly pursuing our vision of " Getting Better not Bigger."
